Britney Spears has been honoured with one of Germany’s most coveted media awards in recognition of her stunning come back. Britney is the proud recipient of the country’s Bambi award for Best International Pop Star – an annual TV and media prize awarded by the Hubert Burda Media Group. According to event organisers, the pop princess is seen as an inspiration after she returned to singing with a big bang following a rather traumatic year that included visits to the rehab, trouble with police, a divorce and the loss of custody of her kids. Event host Hubert Burda said, "Britney Spears is back. Radiant and better than ever, the erstwhile teen idol has reclaimed her throne!"
